It’s been more than 3-4 years that I played around the appearance of the page. I’ve been lately researching a lot on stripping down all the noise and bringing everything to a more minimal refined state and if you’re reading this now, probably you’d be reading on the new look of the website.
For nostalgic purpose, here’re some screenshots of the old page.
dandelion dreams.
Well, there’s all probability that you’ve stumbled across a cliche dandelion shot like this. This one is that I took from a journey through some farms in Yerevan, Armenia. I’ve read of thematic contexts wherein Dandelions are often read with transcience and impermanence.

I happened to recollect an adorable visual sometime from 2015 wherein a dad shows his baby buzz dandelions for the first time and he got excited. Let me tell you, no matter how messed up your day was, this can truly give you some shine and melt your soul!

This resonates well with my take on it. Remember when we talked about the vision? I had written that this space is a virtual studio of arts, ideas and minds built on the idea of embellishment of childish curiosity that we’re born with and to manifest it through fine writings, arts, visuals, and moving images. You cannot touch this space, but if you have been reading me, this humble space, which we call “The Border of a Mind” is in your memory, in an intangible realm of your mind. For a difference, this is a tech how-to post.
A little over two week back or so, due to COVID 19 situation, I had started to work remotely. I’ve been setting up the home computer by porting all the required official data to do the work remotely. As I work on engineering product design, two programs that I use extensively is AutoCAD and Excel. It’s paramount that this two stuff work well in order for me to work effectively.
While starting using excel on remote files synced to home, I kept on getting an error that prevented me from opening these remote files. I’m pretty much sure that many of you would be struggling to work remotely due to this error and at least some of you might have got the exact same error. So I thought of writing a solution here that worked for me and probably would work for everyone. Another reason is that I figured this out after almost one week. So, I thought of helping people in the same situation and to save their time.
In Windows 10, when you open any excel document, if you see the below error
The document may be read-only or encrypted
Normally this error pops up when an individual file is read-only or encrypted. But the files that I was trying to open weren’t encrypted or read-only and I kept on getting the same error. If you’re tired of digging through forums in vain, here’s the fix.
Press the Windows Key + R to open Run Console.
Type in %tmp%
Now, we have to give permissions to this folder. For that, click on “Advanced” near permissions section in the Security tab and give full control. This should solve this error.
articulative eloquence.

Today, the theme is about words and articulation. “10% of conflict is due to difference in opinion and 90% is due to delivery & tone of voice”, says a famous quote. I’ve felt this to be true through several experiences. Articulation and tone is something that we learn through a lifetime during stages wherein we get matured. I’ve always felt that articulative eloquence is an art. I’ve been fortunate to come across several personalities who are at epitomy of this art and I’m grateful to draw inspiration from them. There’s never a benchmark and there’re heaps to learn to grow.
