Life is very brief than we think. Living our best life does not simply imply traveling and acquiring expensive goods. It also means living up to our potential, which means doing the things we want to do someday now rather than putting them off for later, taking chances, taking risks, appreciating what we have, surrounding ourself with people who bring out the best in us, discovering new things about ourself, and doing what makes us happy every single day. Living our greatest life is subjective; we all have various definitions, but ultimately, it is about attaining new levels of self-growth and falling in love with life in full awareness that the life is transitory in nature and we won’t be here for long. How do you want to be remembered?

the fleeting dream
For a moment, assume you’re relaxing on the banks of a river on a beautiful spring day. Consider how a gentle wind cools and refreshes the air. Can you hear the gushing water? Can you notice the beautiful blossoms, each more beautiful than the last? Image yourself chatting to a beloved friend while admiring these beauty; imagine yourself inhaling the fresh perfume of the flowers in the air and listening to the pleasant singing of the birds. Imagine you are enjoying all of these feelings when you wake up and find yourself in bed (!). In such a circumstance, you would understand that all you thought was true was, in reality, a dream: a fabrication of your mind that abruptly evaded.
Let us now envision the identical circumstance after you have woken up. Assume you’re chatting to a close friend while taking in the views and sounds of a beautiful river. If you were asked, “which of the two would you prefer?” after having experienced both, you would of course say, “the one after I woke up.” The reason for this is that what happens in our dreams stays in our dreams and does not assist a person in real life. Nobody can really be sad for what he or she has lost in a dream since they know it has no bearing on actual life. No matter how much delight a person receives in a dream, it will never be as pleasurable as when he or she is awake and in the real world. Now, let’s question this “reality”.
In the same manner, this world’s existence is a dream, exceedingly brief and transient in comparison to an afterlife. What makes us so sure that we are currently not in a dream ? When you’re in a dream, you don’t realize that it’s a dream. The life of this world, which seems so real today, will soon come to an end, and your actual, everlasting existence will begin, similar to returning from the realm of the imagination to the real world upon waking from a dream. After our deaths, our “souls” would wake up from this “dream’ of “life”. This is an ultimate truth of this finite life of ours and it is truly magical.

softer embrace
I hope for those associated with me on any level to live their lives to the fullest, and finest of their abilities. The best pathway in my policy to faciliate it is to never meddle, interfere, dictate, provide unwanted counsel, or help when my skills are not required. If I can assist others, I’ll let them help themselves; and if I can raise or inspire them, I’ll do it by example, gentle inference, and subtle suggestions rather than edict, intrusion into personal spaces and dictation. That is my modest and humble personal philosophy and approach to embarcing life. I want to endeavor to make others feel themselves better & deeper within than they did before they became acquainted with me, both personally and professionally. Much of what you read here would have a lot to do with rediscovering yourself.
growing within
Life is designed to be lived. I’ve always felt the need to pursue the things that pique our interest. We must engage in activities that offer us delight, how hard the daily routine would push you. You must surround yourself with individuals who bring you back to yourself, who appreciate and embrace you in ways that make you feel worthy, accepted, and loved. I don’t take precious readers like you for granted who take their valuable time to glance at these writings. I feel previleged and I always strive to maintain the spirits of my readers thrive high. We must undertake the effort to heal ourself, even if it is painful, so that we do not continue to live our life inside the boundaries of what is heavy within us. We have to put yourself out there, and we can’t worry about what other people say; we can’t deny ourself experience, enjoyment, or inspiration because you’re afraid of how others may view you. We must be unapologetic in our presence here. We must think that our ideas, hopes, and soul deserve to be heard. We must believe that each of us have a mission & purpose in our finite existence here.
hopeful fortitude
I often discuss with Netta on coping with uncertainity. We are meticulous planners by nature and often it requires robust emotional strength to cope up with the smallest uncertainity in life. In most contexts, uncertainty is often related with vulnerability. After all, we all want to feel in charge of our lives, whether it’s our employment, education, friendships, or relationships. The sensation of being “out of control” is unsettling, and we are all guilty of avoiding this vulnerable zone whenever possible. However, by doing so, we are eventually restricting our potential to improve in these areas of our life that need commitment. It is often in these moments of dread and uncertainty that we learn how strong we can be and how much inner strength we really possess. After all, personal progress flourishes where distress flows. That’s what I’ve learned with experiences throughtout my life. Often strong rooted faith and trust in the divine will of Almighty can be a good solace, often in times when we are going through tough times. You may not notice it today or tomorrow, but in a few years you will be completely mystified and astonished by how everything lined together to bring you somewhere beautiful – or where you’ve always wanted to be. You will be relieved that things did not turn out the way you had hoped. Never lose hope. Everything is manageable as long as you have hope. In reality, this inside fire of patience, trust, perseverance, faith and hope is alluded to as the real inner strength.
delight within
This is loosely inspired from the delightfully curious life of my son, Ehan
I just completed an art piece based on the idea of a pleasant admonition to be contented with oneself. Allowing yourself the freedom to be who you really are and discovering the richness in the life you’ve been given. There are many wonderful things in your life, and even if you don’t always see them, they are there to help you create magic with the talents, traits, and characteristics you were born with. Simply learning to explore the joy you already have inside yourself can enhance your outlook on life.

gradualist gains
I’ve always experienced and perceived that organic and holistic growth is always incremental and gradual instead of a sporadic leap. Incremental, constant progress over a long time frame is the recipe for the mastery of a craft, purposeful, fulfilling education, powerful aquisition of skill sets, learning something totally new (like learning a language, for example), etc. Small successes aggregate to produce massive change over time. Although the outcomes may not be spectacular right away, they will be long-lasting. And the accumulation of multiple modest gains is sometimes as potent, if not more powerful, than efforts to make large jumps. The same is true for personal change. People who make a difference always begin slowly, one person at a time. It is not completed entirely at once. It’s done gradually.
“And I’ve noticed something about people who make a difference in the world: They hold the unshakable conviction that individuals are extremely important, that every life matters. They get excited over one smile. They are willing to feed one stomach, educate one mind, and treat one wound. They aren’t determined to revolutionize the world all at once; they’re satisfied with small changes. Over time, though, the small changes add up. Sometimes they even transform cities and nations, and yes, the world. “

with the beauty of what’s in your heart.”
You’ll only take what you’ve given.
Really liked this post. It’s always good to have reality checks to alleviate the rushness we’re driven through. The post was originally written in French. I’m sharing it in English.
When you die, don't worry about your body... your loved ones will do whatever it takes according to their means. They will undress you, You will be washed They will dress you They will take you out of your house and drive you to your new address. Many will come to your funeral to say goodbye. Some will cancel appointments and even miss their work to go to your funeral. Your possessions, even what you did not like will be loaned, sold, offered or burned. Your keys Your tools Your books Your CDs Your shoes Your clothes... And be sure that the the world will not stop to cry for you. Everything will continue. In your work, you will be replaced. Someone with the same or better abilities will take your place. Your property will go to your heirs.... And don't doubt that you will continue to be quoted, judged, and criticized for the small and big things you've done in life. Your sincere friends will cry for a few hours or days, but then they will return to their daily lives. The "friends" who challenge you, will forget you faster. Your pets will get used to the new owner. Your photos will remain hanging on the wall for a while or remain on a piece of furniture, but then they will be stored at the bottom of a drawer. Someone else will sit on your couch and eat at your table. The deep pain in your home will last a week, two, a month, two, a year, two... Then you will be added to the memories and then your story will end. It will be finished for yours, finished here, finished in this world. But will begin your story in your new reality... your life after death. Your life where you will not be able to move with things from here because in addition, by leaving, they will have lost the value they had. Body Beauty Appearance Surname Comfort Credit Status Position Bank account House Car Profession Securities Diplomas Medals Trophies Friends Places Spouse Family... In your new life, you won't just need your mind. And the value you have worked on here will be the only fortune that counts there. This fortune is the only one you will take away and the one you will have amassed during the time you have lived here. When you live a life of love for others and at peace with others, you amasse your spiritual fortune. That is why try to live fully and be happy as long as you are here because, from here you will not take what you have. You will only take what you have given.
fabric of the world
Love these lines gushing with solace! There’s a beautiful kind of calm disposition on complete reliance to divine will.
Should you not gain your wants, my soul, then be not grieved; But hasten to that banquet which your Lord’s bequeathed. And when a thing for which you ask is slow to come, Then know that often through delay are gifts received. Find solace in privation and respect its due, For only by contentment is the heart relieved. And know that when the trials of life have rendered you Despairing of all hope, and of all joy bereaved, Then shake yourself and rouse yourself from heedlessness, And make pure hope a meadow that you never leave. Your Maker’s gifts take subtle …and uncounted forms. How fine the fabric of the world His hands have weaved. The journey done, they came to the water of life, And all the caravan drank deep, their thirst relieved. Far be it from the host to leave them thirsty there, His spring pours forth all generosity received. My Lord, my trust in all Your purposes is strong, That trust is now my shield; I’m safe, and undeceived. All those who hope for grace from You will feel Your rain; Too generous are You to leave my branch unleaved. - Ali bin Muhammed bin Hussein al-Habshi
